Who We Are

NEKSOM is dedicated to creating a collaborative platform for physicians of Korean heritage in New England to connect, share knowledge, and grow together.  Our members encompass patient care, education, research, health care industry, and policy-making.   Through symposiums, small group meetings, and networking events, we provide opportunities for professional development, mutual learning, and the exchange of valuable insights. By fostering a supportive community, we aim to enhance medical practice, elevate healthcare outcomes, and contribute to the growth of our members and the broader medical community.

Connecting Korean Heritage Physicians, Advancing Healthcare

Bridging Medical Practice and Industry:

 Facilitate collaboration between healthcare professionals, academia, industry, and government to enhance innovation, research, and clinical applications, fostering a seamless exchange of knowledge and expertise. 

Connecting Generations

 Create mentorship programs that unite experienced physicians with trainees and medical students.  

Strengthening Korea-U.S. Medical Collaboration

 Promote partnerships and knowledge exchange between Korean and U.S. medical communities, enhancing global healthcare standards and fostering international cooperation.
